Medicom Toy , MediCom.
Created in collaboration with Medicom Toy, UNREAL marked Lauren Tsai’s first sculptural editional and translated one of her longstanding characters into three-dimensional form.
Developed over more than a year, the polystone sculpture was based on a creature Tsai had drawn since childhood, reimagining a recurring figure from her personal visual mythology as a collectible object. UNREAL was first released at DesignCon in 2019.
